envision runs a unique educational programme: the Young Envisionaries Award (YEVA). With the support of volunteers, YEVA helps to channel the creativity and passion of 16-18 year olds to make a difference in their schools and local communities across London.

envision has been working in collaboration with VSF over the last two years. We've provided strategic advice on communication, engagement and business planning, which has helped the organisation to steadily grow in size while maintaing its effectiveness. We also helped raise over £5,000 for YEVA on a sponsored walk last year.

What envision has to say about VSF:

"Envision was established in June 2000 and was first introduced to the VItal Spark Forum in 2002. We made a few presentations to the board about our work and plans for the future. After being selected as one of the first organisations Vital Spark would work in partnership with, discussions began on how the partnership could be as mutually beneficial as possible.

Over the next two years, Vital Spark supported Envision in two main areas:

Accounting. WIth the help of a Vital Spark Forum member, Envision was able to develop and implement a new accounting system. This system, and the help we received from the Forum, was essential in facilitating the transformation from a small start-up, to a fully functioning charity, able to meet our legal and procedural requirements.

Business Development: We were able to benefit from the expertise present in the VItal Spark Forum with respect to developing our future expansion. Vital Spark helped us review and develop our five year strategy and business plan, factoring in potential risks and management strategies which we would not have considered otherwise.

In summary, Envison is very grateful for the support of Vital Spark Forum. It helped us grow at a critical time in the organisations' life. Now with a staff of 10 full-time members and a turnover of around £250,000, we have been able to operate without support for the last year or so. We would highly recommend other NGOs and start-up charities to make use of the support and goodwill".
